From next Tuesday the 23rd of March BG Freight Line will introduce a second weekly departure from Rotterdam to Teesport. Departures from Rotterdam will be on Tuesday and Saturday. Departures from Teesport will be on Wednesday and Sunday.

Terminals called at are:

1. Teesport    - PD Ports TCT1 
2. Rotterdam - RST South, Kramer RCT Maasvlakte and ECT Delta.

The extra sailing is based on the requirements BG has received from the market after they started serving the port once a week as from April 2009.

BG Freight Line French Service

As from 19th of March 2010 BG Freight Line will be starting a weekly service between Rotterdam and the French ports of Montoir de Bretagne and  Brest. The service will be operated by 2 identical vessels of 803 teus sailing in a butterfly pattern.

Rotation will be as follows:

The new service will not only be calling at Rotterdam, Dublin and Cork directly to / from Montoir de Bretagne and Brest but will also be connecting both French ports with other ports in the BG Freight Line schedules such as Belfast, Grangemouth and Teesport through transshipment in Rotterdam.

BG is convinced that, even in these challenging times, the new service will lead to unexplored opportunities for both quay to quay, door to door and feeder traffics between France, Netherlands, (N)-Ireland, England and Scotland.

BG Freight Line will add Teesport on a weekly basis in her East Coast UK Schedule as from 3rd April 2009. The vessel will load in Antwerp on Fridays, Rotterdam on Saturdays to arrive Teesport on Sundays.

The vessel than continues her sailing to Grangemouth for arrival Monday AM.
