BG Freight Line to call GREENOCK

BG Freight Line to call GREENOCK

As from 19th of June, BG Freight Line will connect Rotterdam, Liverpool and Belfast directly with Greenock.

With 3 ships each 1.000 TEUS sailing in a “butterfly schedule”, the port of Greenock will be called on a weekly basis.

Rotation of the service will be as follows:

Rotterdam      Friday
Liverpool        Monday / Tuesday
Belfast            Wednesday / Thursday
Greenock       Friday
Liverpool        Saturday / Sunday
Rotterdam      Tuesday

Main reason for adding Greenock to BG’s schedule is the high demand from the market-place.

BG is confident that not only Rotterdam – Greenock v.v. but also connections between Liverpool – Greenock v.v. and Belfast to Greenock will be strengthening the position of BG in the Irish Sea.

By means of the Irish Sea Hub with services between Liverpool – Dublin and Belfast as well as the existing services between the ports of Rotterdam – Antwerp – Felixstowe and Liverpool – Dublin – Cork – Belfast, BG has played a major role in the Irish Sea for more than 30 years.

BG’s initiative is in close cooperation with it’s parent company PEEL Ports Limited.
